Crystal Lai

 

Ms Crystal Lai serves the school as a teacher for Violin and Music for the Intelligent Mind (MIM) courses. Crystal began studying the violin at the age of 7. She received her grade 1 to 8 certifications for violin under the ABRSM syllabus and also recently completed her Diploma in Violin Performance with ABRSM as well.

 

Crystal was part of her Secondary School’s Concert Band as a percussionist and has participated in various competitions like SYF (Singapore Youth Festival) and SIBF (Singapore International Band Festival). Her school’s concert band has held numerous performances during celebrations of events such as Chinese New Year or National Day which led to her having a decent amount of experience with performing in a band.

 

Crystal believes that music is a universal language which can be enjoyed by people all over the world and no one is too old or young to start learning as long as they are passionate about it.
