Winnie Ong

Ms Winnie Ong serves the school as a teacher for Piano, Violin and Music for the Intelligent Mind (MIM) courses. Winnie began her music journey at the age of five, achieving the Associate of Trinity College London (ATCL) Diploma by the age of 17. She holds ABRSM Grade 8 Theory and has guided students through both ABRSM Performance and Practical Grade examinations with consistent success.

Since 2021, Winnie has been teaching piano and violin to students of all ages — including young children and toddlers. Her teaching is recognised for being patient, structured, and tailored to each learner’s needs, blending solid technical training with activities that foster creativity and a genuine love for music.

In addition to teaching, Winnie is an experienced piano accompanist for violin examinations and performances, collaborating closely with students to refine ensemble skills and musical expression. She believes music education is not only about mastering an instrument, but also about building confidence, discipline, and joy — qualities that last a lifetime.
