Ms Ashley serves the school as a teacher for Piano and Music for the Intelligent Mind (MIM) courses. Ashley started learning piano at the age of 3. She has extensive experience and spent decades in public performances, such as performing in musicals and choreographing her primary school's Talentime. She went on to choreograph public performances and dances in secondary school and won numerous Gold with Honours Awards at the Bi-annaul Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) in Chinese Dance over seven years. She participated in the inaugural Multi-Cultural Music Marathon in 2008, organised by Republic Polytechnic and North West Community Development Council, performing Chopin's Waltz in B minor at 14. She was eventually awarded the National Youth Achievement Award (Silver) in 2009. She continues to contribute her musical skills after graduating from the National University of Singapore (NUS) at corporate Dinner and Dance programmes, private and national events.

 

She is a MOE-registered instructor and a certified ACLP Adult Educator. She is a seasoned moderator, host/emcee and writer. She believes in the power of holistic and lifelong learning and hopes to inspire others around her to be inquisitive, creative and innovative.
