Master Trainer

 

Mr Xi-Rui Cheng serves the school as a Master Trainer for Piano. He graduated from Fu-Jen Catholic University (FJU) with a Bachelor’s degree in Music and majoring in piano performance. Throughout his years in college, Xi-Rui’s passion in music has allowed him to constantly be involved in numerous events, such as being part of the school choir and contributing to several music production projects.

 

He took part in the Laudamus te - FJCU Concert as a tenor which is held in one of the major performance halls in Taipei, the National Concert Hall, and also got through to the finals in the National Chengchi University Golden Melody competition together with his team. His journey in music continued after graduation, as he continued his career in piano teaching and proposed an approved program for an all-volunteer international music production. He also served as music producer in the music production during the pandemic.

 

Aside from his achievements in performance and production, Xi-Rui is also certified in mastering the Alexander Technique and is equipped with psychology consulting skills. By integrating these skills in his teaching, he can better understand his music players and teach them how to strengthen their music playing while building an antifragile mindset which will help them tackle further music challenges
