Music
for the
Intelligent
MindTM
(MIM®)

Our Principal and founder of the MIM® courses on TV explaining
about the purpose and benefits of the MIM® courses.
Programs for the Young
Children from birth to approximately age six
do not express music like adults. Early childhood, a period of
rapid change and development, is the most critical period in a
child's musical growth. By exposing them to the correct
stimuli and training, with the support from parents, they
would be better positioned to reap the rewards and benefits of
music education.
|
And the Music
for the Intelligent
MindTM
(MIM®)
aims to do just that. |
|
MIM®
is a formal training in music at an early age done through the
fun and interesting way with musical games, musical
activities, flashcards and a lot of visuals.
MIM®
will stimulate the musical brain to promote whole brain
development and uses techniques and methods to enable
accelerated learning. This is not just a music
appreciation or music & movement course.
|
The
MIM course has so far benefited numerous young children in
their wholesome and holistic music education, both in
Singapore and in Malaysia. MIM courses aim to provide the
young children with much more than music appreciation or music
& movement that other music courses provide. MIM concepts
and philosophy is in line with current research on early
childhood learning and development and is thus able to harness
a young child's immense mental strength and capacity to
achieve the musical abilities that MIM courses entails. The
MIM courses have seen numerous 5 year olds tackling at least
the ABRSM grade 1 practical and theory and passed with
distinctions, young children able to read, hear and play (i.e
a well rounded musical training), confident young children
performing in concerts.
